It is our great pleasure to invite you to 2018 SETAC Asia-Pacific Conference, which will be held in Daegu, South Korea, from September 16 to 19, 2018. The conference is dedicated to provide highly scientific programs as well as stimulating discussion under the main theme “Data, Science, and Management Promoting Environmental Welfare”. In Daegu, experts from different fields of academia, business, and regulatory communities and large student community will take a part of the conference to provide a multidisciplinary and comprehensive overview of the latest researches with advanced solutions to environmental challenges. Apart from the science, we want you to take an opportunity to expand your network to find a new cooperation, find a new solution, and discover new ways of thinking.
We welcome you to Korea with whole heart. Korea boasts a fantastic harmony of modern and traditional culture, a warm hospitality and a collection of tempting food. In particular, Daegu is the center of UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites - Andong Folk Village, Yangdong Folk Village, Seokguram Grotto, Bulguksa Temple, Gyeongju historical areas, and Haeinsa Temple, the depositories for the Tripitaka Koreana Woodblocks. Daegu is also known as the heart of Buddhist and Confucian traditions and is, therefore, a perfect place to experience the true character of Asia. You will enjoy the taste of Korean hospitality and cultural flavors wherever you visit during your stay in Daegu, Korea.
